Ekram Jamal is a highly qualified Director at Oakman Child Care Learning Ladder with a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education and Teaching English as a Second Language. With over 12 years in the early childhood field, Ms. Jamal is dedicated to ensuring that every child receives the individualized attention and support they need to thrive. Ms. Jamal’s expertise in special education and language acquisition allows them to effectively meet the diverse needs of children in their care.
Throughout their career Ms. Jamal has been committed to fostering strong relationships with families, staff and the community, understanding that collaboration is the key to a successful early learning environment. Under Ms. Jamal’s leadership Oakman Child Care Learning Ladder has flourished, becoming a cornerstone of the community where children are encouraged to explore, learn and grow.

In addition to their professional role, Ekram Jamal is an active parent of four daughters, and serves on the Dearborn PTA Board, where they collaborate with other parents and educators to enhance the educational experience for all students. Ms. Jamal stays informed on best practices and is committed to ongoing professional development.
