Oakman Child Care & Development is a licensed 5-star preschool and daycare built on a strong foundation of academic excellence and commitment. Our center is a place where your child’s imagination will soar. We provide care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years through a variety of full-time, part-time, drop-in play, and weekend programs. Our top priority is to nurture young hearts and develop young minds.
At Oakman Child Care, we understand the challenges parents face when deciding whether daycare or an individual caregiver is the best option for their child. We work closely with families to ensure we consistently meet the needs of their children. Based on the HighScope method, our programs are uniquely designed to offer all the benefits of social learning, structure, safety, and supervision.
At Oakman Child Care, our Administrative staff are the heart and soul of the Center. Their attention to detail, proactive nature and ability to problem solve make them ideal leaders to handle the “hub” (front office) of the Center. Most of staff are fluent in English, Arabic and French. They play a significant part in managing the day-to-day events and programs.
As lead teacher in he Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP), All our Teachers bring a wealth of experience to Oakman Child Care. Most have earned their master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. with an emphasis in Autism. They are creative, patient and highly motivated personal who pour their heart and souls into teaching and inspiring the children. They are uniquely positioned to offer their students a wonderful opportunity to grow, learn and explore.
As an associate teacher in our classrooms, all our teachers/caregivers years are highly experienced and trained to give the highest level of learning with greater enthusiasm and an inventive curriculum. They are committed to constantly furthering their knowledge with professional development training which gives them value of an early childhood educator. All caregivers are CDA-accredited and are incredibly resourceful and work hard to ensure that their classrooms are filled with happy, healthy and inquisitive children. Most teachers and caregivers speak both English and Arabic and have a knack for creating fun-filled and academically challenging activities.
We provide before and after school transportation for all GSRP students! Our dedicated drivers are trained to ensure the safety and well-being of every child during transit. Each bus is equipped with secure seat belts, and we follow strict safety protocols, including regular vehicle inspections and driver background checks. Your child's safety is our top priority, and we are committed to providing a secure and reliable transportation service that gives parents peace of mind.
